"Play Information technology Again" is a vocal written by Dallas Davidson and Ashley Gorley and recorded past American land music artist Luke Bryan. It was released in March 2014 as the fourth unmarried from Bryan's 2013 album Crash My Party.[i] On April 17, 2014, the song became Bryan'due south eighth non-consecutive chart-topper on the Hot Land Songs chart, the almost by any act in the time since his first number one "Rain Is a Good Thing" striking the top spot on July 24, 2010.[ii]

The protagonist approaches a girl at a tailgate political party. Matt Bjorke of Roughstock gave the song 4 stars out of v, praising both the lyrics for "[getting] at the emotion that hits immature people who are full of life" and Bryan's charming commitment, which "sells the song". Bjorke besides commended the label'south timing in releasing a feel-good vocal so close to Summertime.[3] Baton Dukes of Taste of Land also gave the vocal a positive review, maxim that "This superstar is enjoying a time when everything that he sings sounds unique and feels securely satisfying. He'due south found a few familiar themes that don't abound erstwhile quickly, and his performances have gotten ameliorate with each release. "Play It Again" debuted at number 46 on the Country Airplay chart for the week ending of March fifteen, 2014.[6] Two weeks afterwards, "Play It Over again" entered the Billboard Hot 100 nautical chart at number 81 for the calendar week ending of March 29, 2014.[seven] "Play Information technology Again" reached number one on the Hot Land Songs chart dated of April 17, 2014.[2] "Play It Again" reached number ane on the Country Airplay nautical chart for the week ending of May 31, 2014; the aforementioned calendar week, Florida Georgia Line's "This Is How We Roll", on which Bryan is a featured artist, held the number two position on the Land Airplay chart, making Bryan the first artist in the chart'due south 24-year history to hold the top two positions simultaneously.[8]
