What you need to know
- Customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland can now pre-order twelve months of Disney+ at a discount.
- The limited period offer will end on March 23.
- Disney+ is set to launch in the nine European countries on March 24.
Ahead of the launch of its Disney+ streaming service in Europe next month, Disney today announced a pre-sale deal that will allow customers to save £10 or €10 on an annual subscription. A monthly subscription to Disney+ costs £5.99/€6.99, so this is a pretty good deal. Provided you sign up for an annual Disney+ subscription before March 24, you will end up only paying £4.17/€5.83 per month to access Disney's expansive catalog.
Each of the countries in this batch of the Disney+ rollout has a similar deal, except for France — désolé, mes amis — and you can pre-order right now to get your discount. At the end of this introductory year, you'll be charged the regular annual price, but at least the first year can be discounted.

As confirmed by Disney+ last week, however, The Mandalorian will not stream all at once in the new launch countries. Instead, episodes of the live-action Star Wars series will start a weekly roll out from March 24, so you all can experience the lovely days of waiting and waiting to finally see the scenes those The Child memes came from.
Disney+ will go live in the UK, Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland on March 24. It was previously slated to launch in these countries on March 31. The streaming service is also expected to launch in a few other western European markets later in the summer.
